Note: Chaperones will depart from the check-in area at 1:30 PM. All late arrivals will need to transit to the gate on their own.

Baggage Limits:

• One check in bag/suitcase: 50 pound limit... BUT EF AND YOUR CHAPERONES HIGHLY SUGGEST all travelers only use carry-on if possible

• One carry-on bag (can not exceed 22"x14"x9"). IF YOU ARE CHECKING A BAG, your carry-on bag should have one to two changes of clothes, medications, snacks, EF materials, phone charger, money, passport

• One personal item (purse, tote, backpack)

• If possible, try to limit baggage to one larger bag and one backpack

• Travelers are responsible for any baggage fees imposed by the airline

Airport Procedures - Itinerary A

Itinerary A will depart from Charlotte, have a layover in Toronto, and arrive in Rome. Travelers on this flight are Deanna Black, Ashley Bowers, Lanie Bowers, Addison Calloway, Amanda Calloway, Megan Colvard, Nathan Colvard, Addison Dollar, Amy Dollar, Ashley Dollar, Tucker Eller, Leah Gentry, Ashley Golding, Hadley Goss, Thomas Graybeal, Alyssa-Rose Horton, Jeannette Key, John David Lea, Michael Lea, Natalie Lea, Ellie Lemly, Jodie Lemly, Zoey Lemly, Chloe Neal, Carson Pruitt, Campbell Ramsey, Eric Ramsey, Stephanie Ramsey, Dakota Sharpe, Adam Wagoner, Christina Wagoner, and Phoebe Wagoner

General Departure Procedure

1. Arrive at CLT by 11:30 AM.

2. Check yourself into Air Canada. The e ticket number will be emailed. All you need is your passport to check in.

3. Check in with one of the Chaperones, preferably your Group Leader, near the Air Canada check in counter.

4. Wait for other travelers to arrive and check in.

5. Check In Groups will go through security together as soon as the entire group is present.

6. Go to the departure gate and check in with Nathan Colvard.

7. After arriving at the departure gate, you can explore the departure gate/concourse as desired until 2:00 PM. Remember you must be in groups of at least 3.

8. At 2:00 PM group up with your Check In Groups to make sure everyone is here.

9. We will then board in our boarding zones. Find your seat and prepare for takeoff.

Arrival in Toronto

1. Scheduled arrival at 5:17 PM

2. Depart the airplane.

3. Hang out near the arrival gate until EVERYONE in your Check In Group has debarked the plane.

4. Walk with your Check In Group to the next gate.

5. Once the Check In Group is at the departure gate, you can explore the departure gate/concourse as desired until 6:30 PM. Remember you must be in groups of at least 3.

6. At 6:30 PM group up with your Check In Groups to make sure everyone is here.

7. We will board in our boarding zones. Find your seat and prepare for takeoff.

8. Takeoff is scheduled for 7:35 PM

9. Remember that it will be important to sleep on this flight. Avoid caffeine if it will keep you from sleeping.

Toronto to Rome

Arrival in Rome

1. Scheduled arrival at 10:15 AM on June 15, 2025.

2. Hang out near the arrival gate until EVERYONE in your Check In Group has debarked the plane.

3. Group up with check in groups.

4. Walk with your Check In group to Customs/International Arrivals.

5. Wait on the other side of Customs for your whole group. DO NOT walk ahead to baggage.

6. Walk with your Check In Group to baggage.

7. Grab baggage.

8. Group up in your Check In Groups for a final headcount before leaving the airport.

9. Meet our Tour Directors, get on the bus, and start the tour!

Departure Time: 12:35 PM

1. Scheduled arrival at 2:31 PM

2. Depart the airplane.

3. Hang out near the arrival gate until EVERYONE in your Check In Group has debarked the plane.

4. Walk with your Check In Group to the next gate.

5. Once the Check In Group is at the departure gate, you can explore the departure gate/concourse as desired until 3:45 PM. Remember you must be in groups of at least 3.

6. At 3:45 PM group up with your Check In Groups to make sure everyone is here.

7. We will board in our boarding zones. Find your seat and prepare for takeoff.

8. Takeoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM

9. Remember that it will be important to sleep on this flight. Avoid caffeine if it will keep you from sleeping.
